More about Kinira
Kinira has a rich history dating back to the Phoenician era. Koinira together with Ainira (today's Paleochori) were the centres of the mining industry of the region. Now it is also known as "Loutro" by the locals.
There is always free space on the beach, since it is not crowded, unlike most other sandy beaches of Thassos. The waters are crystal clear, as they are all over the island.
